Chanel Iman, who was raised in LA, moved to NYC at the age of 14 so that she could pursue her love of fashion, which inadvertently turned into a high end career in modeling. After shopping around agencies in Los Angeles, her career took off without a hitch. The 19-year-old model loves listening to music as her inspirational muse to help her strut down the runway whenever shows are happening. Aside from fashion, she does have role models in woman that are movers and shakers. On personal time, she is a very natural looking girl who prefers simplicity when it comes to make up or clothing. Tank top and jeans is her most popular combination, with a colorful bra underneath, she says. She prides herself in the love for simple things, friends, and organic products.
The best part of having nearly unlimited access to celebrity clothing is that dressing in different clothes for shows and runway events preserves a playful side to her job because it allows her to role play and move into another identity. It is another world for her, and fashion serves as a sort of art form that allows her to explore different characters and to come together with the art community, which in this realm, is made up of photographers, designers, models.

When asked about her personal style and favorite fashion dos, she says that she considers her style to embrace looks that are classic, chic, and comfortable. Since childhood, she has learned that fashion and style are games she loves to play, and now playing her favorite game has become part of her profession. As a youth, she was influenced by her grandmother and icons like Audrey Hepburn. According to Kerr, style and fashion never really require an abundance of money, rather they require an abundance of creativity insofar as the way pieces are placed together to complement each other. Miranda shares her perspective that the way anyone carries themselves will also lend to the type of style that they exude.
When asked by interviewers about what she has in mind for this season's upkeep on her personal clothing collection, the Victoria's Secret model said that she is looking to add to her casual collection with everyday run of the mill items like baseball caps and classic t's. Aside from the more casual pieces, which she uses most often, Kerr prefers well tailored cuts and designs, regardless of the designer, genre, or what have you.
Overall, Kerr recommends sticking to pieces that are timeless. Dressing down is easy for beauties like Kerr, and a low key outfit can always be dressed up with complimentary accessories; in the form of earrings, belts, purses, or jewelry for the neck, arms, or hands. Adding delicate and shiny pieces to the ensemble of a basic tank top and jeans makes all the difference when you are trying to dress up the comfortable casual look. In addition to all of the street wear that she sports on a daily basis, she also enjoys actual sportswear for when she's toning her bikini body with Pilates, or ballet workouts.
